It's not a bug; it's a feature
I've been reading a lot lately about the re-emergence of the bedbug in North America. Stories from unlucky people with infestations all agree that the bugs are terribly hard to exterminate.
On the plus side, a bad infestation apparently smells like fresh raspberries.
Hey! Thanks for the link to Bedbugger. Sad to say, I've been in contact with hundreds of sufferers of bedbugs so far, and not one has smelled the raspberry smell, not one. Maybe if you have a really, really bad problem (the likes of which most normal people would have fought long before it reached this stage).
